I don't see the point in mac vs. pc anymore... A mac and pc are the same thing now with the move to the x86 architechture

The switch from PPC to x86 is in reality hardly visible to the end user.

The actual *interface* with the hardware is exactly the same as it was in the PPC days.

OS X x86 is OS X PPC.

I have seen one store that sells macs over here saying that I have seen several stores where u can just buy a normal pc and choose apple as your OS rather than windows...

I think it really comes down to preference. as you were saying you've seen a comp store that sells regular pc's with option apple or windows OS, i'm more partial to windows so i'd probably opt for that, but some people might like apple better.

i f***ing hate those stupid mac vs pc commercials, they are like two kindergarten children fighting, they need a teacher to come along and smack them over the head.

i use firefox with adblock+ 2 get rid of ads, kinda useful
