I suppose if you live in a tiny all white town somewhere you could ahve missed this, but here in S. Florida and every other major city in the US, we have blended-- terms, expressions, foods, etc. I use Yiddish words (I'm not Jewish), I buy Cuban and Jamaican items at my local grocery, we have latin radio and tv stations...on and on it goes.
I live in a little hick town, so I probably missed it. lol
