I know that North Dakota is scarcely populated but, this is something else.
Winters can be a little harsh up here and last for up to 8 months but, we don't get hurricanes, earthquakes and tornadoes are too rare to mention.
Oh well
If anyone ever moves up here. Say hello.
From your neighbour
Donna

A little harsh? Yikes! We may have hurricanes from time to time, but I never have to worry about the power going out and freezing to death. If you ever head south, say hello!

I've got cousins in Fargo. One of them is married to an endodontist, so I go see them whenever I feel in the mood for a root canal. Must be why my cousin tells me that I never come see them anymore?

North Dakota is a good place. Good people. Some people think the prairie is boring but it our prairies feed the rest of the world; there's nothing boring about starvation.

Unfortunately, North Dakota is a lot like Minnesota. We have 10 months of winter and two months of poor sledding.

A bunch of my relatives ended up in the Dakotas when the family was starving to death in Sweden. Half of Vastergotland ended up in the Dakotas and the rest went to Minnesota. They were all homesick for Sweden because they missed seeing trees.

Spring is coming soon. Until then, get out the seed catalogs and dream of the time when the ground will thaw and the birds return. Stay well and do good work.
