Why do headphones that work fine for portable devices like an ipod or for a music device like a CD played suck for computers, like theres all the weird high pitched interference and white noise crap. Then headphones that are designed for computers suck for most portable devices but work fine for computers...
Whats up with that?

I just can't stand to leave a field blank.

That's strange. I don't use headphones at the moment. My son had some I liked because they sounded better than just listening to music on my PC speakers alone. Which brand do you have now?

Whats up with that?

The ones I use work equally well on both! Can't give you the brand name of the cuff but I hear every little sound crystal clear.

I'm not looking for a new set of headphones, i have a really nice set right now, JVC.
I'm looking for a 5.1 surround headset (with a mic) right now for my PC.

I just can't stand to leave a field blank.

I hate that. I switch to catch something and the sound is so terrible.
