Ages of Love

First love is always remembered with the most fondness. First crushes, first heartbreak.

I still compare my first love to everyone else. I still smile at his memory - but that's all.

It's comfortable, it's idealistic, it young and fresh. All the firsts mixed up with the whole world.

In that case, I was in love when I was 5.
His name was Dalton and I had the biggest crush on him, it was ridiculous.

But in all honesty, it has nothing to do with age. People don't all develop at the same rate; mentally, physically, emotionally, spiritually.

You can never tell someone how THEY feel.

I don't think there's a specific age, it just happens when it happens.

I don't understand why people say teenagers can't be in love though. I know there's the whole idea that if a teenager is in love then they must be some naive, lovesick person, but I don't think this is true of everyone.
