Today was the senior skip day at my school and there was beer and smokes...
I did not attend more multiple reasons:
a. i dont drink or smoke
b. i had a test i couldnt miss
c. im not a stupid person

Everyone believes I snitched on the attendees because they saw me talking to the principles... I was just showing them The Duck Song (because our mascot is a duck)...
Then later I was called in for questioning by the assistant principle and when he asked about it, that was the first I heard of it...
Also, when we were younger, I was known for being a snitch, but I don't do that anymore...

Now I am being harassed for "being a snitch"
How can I convince them that I am not the one who snitched on them?
or how can I get them to leave me alone because ignoring will only make it worse.

I hate to say it, but you probably already know...you can't prove a negative so there's no way you can prove you didn't snitch. Unless of course, you can find out who really did snitch and get them to admit it. I doubt that will happen.

As far as getting them to leave you alone...what are they doing? Ordinarily I would ignore it too, but I don't know what constitues "worse."

I was just talking to my husband last night about looking back at high school and realizing that what your classmates say/think about you isn't relevant in the long run. But that's hindsight and it does nothing for the person currently in the situation.

The only advice I can think to give is hang in there and look forward to when you don't have to put up with that kind of childishness anymore.

Is this the first "senior skip day" at your school? I'd be willing to bet that everyone knew this event was taking place....students and teachers alike. That little get together was probably no big secret either.

My nephew recently had a party to celebrate his 21st birthday. He was so excited about the event, it had it's own Facebook page. When the party got raided that night, the first thing everyone was thinking was "snitch". Nevermind that he broadcast the event to the world, there had to be a "snitch".

I would sit down and talk to one of your harassers. If they aren't willing to listen to you, they aren't really worth your time. If the harassment is physical, I wouldn't even think twice about reporting it.
