How do T.V advertisements manipulate young children? Iyou believe that advertisements manipulate the youth or believe that advertisements do no such thing then give your reasons for your belief!

This for my media coursework and i would appreciate a few responses for my studies, THANK YOU!

Well, mcdonalds for example.
With all the toys and strange little childish adventures they have in the ads, it makes kids want mcdonalds. I worked on me when I was little.

they do advertise for the young, look at christmas, all the games set up in the best possible way.
i.e happy families

or even, some of the cars, star wars items, all taken with brill camera angles to make sometjing look super duper. when in actual fact they are not.

Advertisers know to aim at children, because you then get the nagging power of children, and parents give in so easily.

look at some of the super toys that have been marketed at christmas, that parents have queued for and only to be not played with a few days after christmas. That is the power of advertising.

Advertisers mercilessly go for the young, and even turn up the volume of the
adverts at their end - have you noticed that. Bastards!
