Does anyone know how much it would cost to add someone onto a mortgage?

There are a lot of deals available out there that vary in cost very considerably. If you where to change the mortgage provider you could pick up a deal were the BS pay all the legal charges and give you a bonus for shifting to them.

BUT be very careful and read all the small print before you think of signing any deal.

Adding someone to a mortgage dilutes your rights in ownership.
if you are selling a portion or paying a debit through the ownership rights do a LLC or Limited Partnership.
as for cost depends on where your at globally, I would guess a couple of hundred dollars

if you add someone to the mortgage it would mean they are entitled to a percentage of the asset....be careful make sure its what you want to do.

Get quotes from a solicitors, all of them should be able to offer a quote free of charge.

Choose the one that suits you best. To get someone put on here, and to have deeds etc changed/altered your looking at about £150

I know, you answered the topic that she posted

I just had to reply to that because it annoys me when people post on something when they haven't read the topic!
