If abortion was illegal, then women would seek out other ways of terminating pregnancy and we're talking guy with a dirty table and a rusty knife. It's been proven that less women die because they have had an abortion in countries where it is illegal. As one of my teachers once said "I don't believe in abortion, I refused to get one once...but if any of you girl were going to have one I'd defend you to the hilt to make sure you got it."

I don't believe that personal health issues belong in the public domain. Abortion is both a health and a moral issue and my Mother taught me that you can't legislate love.
I don't advocate abortion, but I've never been faced with a problem pregnancy. I do care that we not return to the days of back alley quacks or women using turkey basters full of drain cleaner because they are desparate. I am old enough to remember those days and to have lost a friend to such circumstances. Never again.

It's true if abortion was made illegal many women would die from abortions done with wire hangers etc.. For people who say abortion is murder then those same people should open up their hearts and homes to ALL these unwanted babies and care for them. So far it doesn't look like they are willing to do that so they should stay out of other peoples personal business!!
