For all you pro-life people..

How does it feel to stand in front of an abortion
clininc and waves signs and yell "murder"? Good right?

wrong!
Who gave you the power to dictate to other people,
especially other women, what they can and can not do?
Dont say "GOD" told you its wrong.
Whats wrong is the people who are "pro-life", "great americans"
wont do a thing, not a thing for that child once he or she is born.
Will you be the one who adopts that child? Will you bring him up
through a foster home? will you provide good health coverage for
the baby?

...most likely you wont..
thats the best thing you can do in the "abortion fight"
Its legal, its not getting overturned, do something construstive,
turn all that negative energy into positive energy by helping out
the youth

They are entitled to their opinions, and they are entitled to protest peacefully. They need to respect opinions which differ from theirs, and you need to respect opinions which differ from yours!

no joke in this post!

I find it funny when people who murder abortionists and/or threaten the lives of women in abortion clinics call themselve pro-life.

**Note, I know not all Pro-Life people are like that.

I find it appalling and sickening.
It's not funny in the least, except in the strongest form of irony.

That's what I meant.

Not like a:
"HAHA! Hil-f***ing-arious!"

More like a:
"Wow... that's just so messed up."

I konw, merely saying that I wouldn't even refer to it as funny. Crazy perhaps.

Ahh, but it's always the "Christians" who claim to be pro-life, isn't it. Ever seen any Muslims, Bhuddists, Rastafarians?
Their religion is based on suffering, and as they see it any child is deserving of it's measure of suffering, and deserves to be born, abused, neglected, dumped, and to suffer all the pain their precious god is so fond of. They see no "value of life" questions as relevant, all life must suffer, and to prevent that is a SIN!
You'll also note it's the fringe element, those really into fire n brimstone, who protest, not that many mainstream Christians do so.

Abortion is banned under Shariah Law, but they don't get out on the street about it, it is readily available as a "medical treatment", whatever the law may say.
And as I said, Christianity does not pre-suppose Pro-life activism, nor vice-versa.
It seems to take a very narrow definition of "life", and a narrow mean mind to be an "activist".
God preserve us from all "ists"!

hmmmmm! makes you wanna go hmmmm!
another one of these controversial topics/threads/debates
where posters will give lip service to respecting opinions that don't agree with theirs - but in reality, passion for or against can and does inadvertently come across in disrespectful means.

Excuse me, but you are wrong here, you can't tell a person that believes it is murder, and that all life is precious, the foetus is not to blame for what either the mother or father in a biological sense, for what they did. Now I am not condoning what either of them most probably did, but don't you think that abortionists are killing an innocent unborn child, so now who is the murderer?
