What musical label do u think AFI is? I think they're everything but polka, basically.

I dunno really. A magazine I read describes them as "goth-punk" but to be honest I don't care, if I like it I like it

Alt-rock. But they're the basics of what normal rock is anyway today, so maybe
even just plain old "Rock".

I hesitate to call them goth, but it's possible.

Everything but polka? So they're Hardcore Christian Victorian Norwegian Rap Hip Hop Country Western Punk Ska Metal Oldies Alternative Choir Goth Japanese R and B Electronica?

Id go with goth punk, its partly image and partly lyrical, but im totally sure id say they were one of the first important goth punk band.

Remember the difference though, as id put them quite apart from other goth, which usually intakes metal, like evanescence.
