Its come up in the forums quite a lot lately. So i feel a word of explanation is due.

When kudos abuse is reported it is picked up by whatever moderator sees it first. We deal with this in different ways sometimes.

Sometimes the person abusing kudos is banned or punched but the kudos is left there so that the other staff can see why the member was punished.

Sometimes the kudos is deleted.

Please bear in mind punishment is not made public so although it may seem no action has been taken i can assure you it has.

So this is why sometimes the kudos remains, its just to let the other staff know what has been said and why the member has been punished.

A friendly PM to any staff member asking us to remove bad kudos will go a lot further than making indignant threads on the forum, also it is more likely to be dealt with seeing as we cannot read every single thread on the forum.
