The only reason I really liked Nightwish was cause my older sister loved that band. I definitely acquired her taste but to be honest didn't keep up with the band. My buddy was playing some music at our fontana internship and i recognized the voice but didn't realized it was the girl from Nightwish. Tarja is apparently putting out a solo record early next year and from what Ive heard from her site (google mywinterstorm) the music is pretty good. Her voice is like no other and it seems like they're not just songs but movie scores. Opera and metal on paper doesnt necessarily work on paper but it does and the album should definitely prove otherwise.

I love Nightwish!!! That's brilliant; I can't wait for it to be released!

Nightwish are a pretty cool band now. I didn't really like them with the old singer to be honest... but I like the new singer's voice much better, and she's prettier.
