Electric_Banana![]() Pastel Avon Suburbia, New Zeal | #1 1. The Shining: Only because of that thing in bed room, at the top of the stairs, looking back at Shelly Duval. Reading the book explains what that is and so the ambiguity is lost along with the horror. For those that haven't read - That was the ghost of a homosexual couple that attended the Overlook ball (hence the other guy laying spread eagle on the bed). Kubrick was pretty damn good at picking a pretty frickin' freaky costume - I can just see Kubrick's costume coming to real life and chasing that kid through the halls yelling that it's coming to eat his little d***. Still, classic horror and pretty much my all time favorite movie. 2. The Wickerman (70's Original): Another favorite and genuine horror where very good acting is what made the movie (ignoring the promoters who spoiled the film on the movie's poster). 3. Jeepers Creepers: 80 out of 10 for scary but the movie was really stupid. 4. The Vanishing: The only thing worse than losing a girl who you can truly relate to on all levels is losing her to a death like this one. 5. Pink Floyd: The Wall: The kids with meat faces having eyes and teeth ripped out, for better processing in that meat grinder (and to denote the nameless faceless many), really upset me. In my later years after succumbing to cognitive dissonance, the movie upset me in a much different way.

Erimitus![]() The mind of God, Antarctica | #2 Passion of Christ. They kick the s*** of this guy and then tack him up to a cross to die. Who does that kind of thing? Didn’t they have lethal injection? Gave me nightmares.

The only film that's ever disturbed me is Clockwork Orange, but I still watch it everytime it's on TV. It's beautiful in a very twisted way. Let Me In was quite creepy as well.

| x_Laura_x Particularly cunty ![]() East Grinstead, United Kingdom | #6 As a child I was traumatised for weeks by a certain movie that I don't remember the name of. It was about a house that was built on a graveyard and obviously there was ghostly happenings there. The scene that traumatised me was a bathtub filling up with blood from the plughole. Don't know why it got me but it did, I was only about 7 OK If anyone recognises this film, please do tell me because it has been annoying the piss out of me for years! I would love to watch it again | ||||||

Who does that kind of thing? Didn’t they have lethal injection? Gave me nightmares. I love that movie, even though it made me cry. I always cry or at least tear up when they start whipping him. I can't handle it emotionally I guess.

| Cpat92 Once in a Lifetime ![]() Somewhere in the background, | #11 Don't judge me, but movies like Paranormal Activity or anything that may be similar to that scares me. I believe in houses being haunted by ghosts and/or demons. I think it can happen and it scares me to think about it. Yet, I like Halloween and the scary stuff it has to offer. I guess I'm used to looking at the reality side of things, especially when it comes close to Halloween. I think I might research the Salem witch trials this year. | ||||||

twilitezone911![]() Saint Louis, Missouri | #15 jeeper creepers was really stupid movie, through the movie that music that the keypoint of the movie, it really annoying. it really bad plot to it, but i did like the monster. laura - here are there are 3 movies that might described the movie, you try to figure out. there are: 1. the haunting 2. dark water 3. ring i remember watching " a clockwork orange " in theater, it was a little creepy to me. because there was so much reality, it shows you about our society. it didn't scare me, but it left me a little haunted. this why this is a brilliant masterpiece. this movie make really make you think about a lot of the conscience mind and do we have the right to reform someone who is doing what he was born to. " don't look now " is that a great horror movie, that best way of what this movie is. it was one of the strangest movie, i've seen. really masterpiece of a movie, the end of the movie just really blew me away. one of the best horror/comedy movie was " tremors ". this movie is a gem, because it is a " spoof " about you seen in the past horror/monster movies in typical sense, with a crazy killer killing everybody. the movie has it had gross scenes in it, but the humor make this movie, a cult movie masterpiece. then finally the worst movie, i've saw in my life, it had to one of the worst horror or any movie anybody have seen. the movie " saw ", i like the premise of the movie, because it was different than most of these so called " horror movies " in the last 20 years. two things that i hate about the movie was the annoying victims whining in their death situations, and the very poor acting from danny glover. i would play the person in the movie, that a uzi not only kill every victims, not only kill " jigsaw " killer, and finally you use a clip only on danny, just take his part in the movie.
