42/F/Medway, United Kingdom Join Date: Dec 2006 | my 15 yr old son was talking to some girl on a different site she said she was14, it turned out she was a he who was a adult,cos he is still hasnt picked up the art of deception he believed this person,when hecome home he looked on my p.c and he was still there so we phoned the police,we dont know what happend but he wasnt on the next night,my sonis gulliable and probably would arrange a meet ,it makes feel sick.

21/F/Westerville, Ohio Join Date: Feb 2008 | The situations are obviously very touchy. Online, anything and everything can be real, or fake. Its virtual; you'll never know really.
I believe that if someone thinks they can make adult desicions, they should be ready to deal with the consiquences(sp i know). The level of maturity determines the level of common sence one should possess. These little 13-17 year old really have no clue whats going on online. Even if you say you do, you dont. I said i knew everything at 17, im 21...and still learning.
But hopefully, little ones will be able to learn from their own mistakes, and hopefully, its not a fatal one.

37/M/bricktown, Join Date: Jul 2007 | yes, i do feel a little funny, uneasy talking with youngsters on line sometimes,
but other times not.
It is unfortunate that because of the magnification of the poedaphile
transgressions (in that, due to sensationalism it paints a picture of predators
waiting at every corner near every school or bus stop, nothing but scummy
creeps on line...) However this is not the case, but due to this awareness, adults
with Normal, healthy outlooks on life are made to feel precarious.
