racing harnesses are legal in aussie.
we fit them at my garage.
but specs are tight, you set it up wrong and your dead.
cops tried to bust a customer of mine, but i sorted them out.

Do you not need to have a roll cage to fit a harness? Since if you roll in a car with a harness your head has no where to go, and if the top collapses your head get's crushed. At least I believe that's the thinking behind the laws here.

I live in the States and have heard that they are, now I do not know if that is just certain States or Cities.

my buddy has 2 tickets for his red neons, up here in MN they are hella illegal to have on while driving because they distract other drivers. And the other time we got pulled over the cop said that we were impersinating a police officer. So in MN they are illeagal
