I'm just wondering how long it will take to really notice a difference. I had one hand operated on on February 7th and the other April 26th. It had gotten so bad it wasn't safe for me to try to carry anything. I also couldn't feel my hands and was hurt a couple of times. This was dangerous because I got no warning that my hand was hurt. Someone had to ask me how I got a terrible bruise.
So far, I feel better, but now I have pain. The dr. says I'm doing well. Anybody else ever deal with this?

My girlfriend had surgery for carpal tunnel syndrome 5 times now and is possibly going for another one. She is seriously thinking of not going because it hasn't gotten much better, just the opposite. She had to step down from magistrate to just working sporadically around the office because of the surgeries and ongoing pain.

I can't speak of it first handed as I've never had it but from what she says about it in her situation it hasn't gotten any better, just short term relief then back to surgeries. Sorry!
