Colorado springs is a nice city/town I think. Especially enjoyed Old Town though, full of curious bookstores and shops and studios all over the place.. there was an indian part as well, certainly sported some very interesting places. But seven falls you can skip, seven waterfalls coloured in gaudy colours.. horrible.

If you want an unforgettable experience of nature, of near otherworldly beauty, spend a day walking aboug The Garden Of The Gods..it is beond description.. you walk around there expecting to see a dragon flit through the air, maybe catch ear of an elfsong.. its amazing.

I live here. I suggest Estes Park. There are excellent hotels by the river, a cool main street along the river with shops and dining, plenty of amusement places and nature related sutff in the mountains like white-water rafting and horseback riding. Yeah, Colorado is pretty neat, I love it here.

Go down to southwestern colorado.

Ouray, silverton, durango etc.
