i've been playing for about 4 year( but i play guit.7 year)I've Cort P.J bass. I play with pics, and sometimes fingers ( iron maiden's songs, for example). I'm in thrash metal band "Beyond Personality".

ive been playing my ba** for over a year and a half. i play with my fingers and use three fingers, but i have some riffs that i have to use a pick just to get the right sound on the song. i can play some system of a down, black sabboth, and a few others but i prefer to make my own. Im in a band called pyrrhic victory, which means a battle won at too high of a cost. i won a fender squire percision ba** (4-string). if you go to my profile and look at my pics you'll see one of me and my bass.

i have an ashton b2 bass. basic setup. (ashton = australian brand so you may not have heard of it).

I play metal mainly. I'm quite partial to frantic one liners on the g and e strings but i do use all of the strings most of the time. When im in a lazy mood i slap my bass.

i play with two fingers, when required i throw in a third finger. sometimes if my callouse has ruptured i play with a pick but i find that if i want to do a more complex bassline i definetly need to use my fingers. but some people have more dexterity with a pick (tom araya for example), i am abviously not one of them.
