Well anyone that saw my thread earlier will have seen that my neighbors had a very loud party until 5am... At which point I decided that it was pointless to try sleeping.

I don't wanna be rude to them but I just wanna write them a note or a letter or something just to ask them maybe not to do it again on a weeknight at least... I'm pretty f***ing angry but I don't see the point in waging a war with them!

So I just kinda want to be honest with them and say that our houses are far too close together and the walls are far too thin for that kinda stuff, I'm just scared of sounding rude.

I'm normally very good with words but I'm at a loss on this one.

Any help from anyone would be awesome

To be honest I think the best approach would be to to talk to them in person. That way you can tell them how you feel and such, and they can see the effect it has on you and make them feel bad.

Yeah I'm lost, I don't know how to start it at all

My parents keep saying they'll contact them about their parties but they never do, so I have to take this into my own hands or I'll end up never sleeping

I had plenty of that last year. My roommate never slept, well she slept during the day I guess, and was up all night. I finally just yelled at her one night to keep it down. I think i surprised her, because she tried to be quiet.

As for your letter...still thinking

Tell them you don't want it to be a problem, and blah blah blah, however if they keep it up you will notify the proper authorities or something like that.
