I think you're barking up the wrong tree for an argument.
That is all on the matter.

You told me that I was either too cheap/poor or couldn't be bothered [to learn an OS I have significant experience with].

I was just wondering whether you could narrow it down a little. I guess not.

I prefer a PC with Windows...and I am not unfamiliar with Mac...and I can afford whichever I want.

Back in the day when there was no Windows and PC's ran DOS I used a MAC...back then it was a box with a monitor built in and it had a mouse and it was everything that Windows is today...ok...well not exactly...but you get what I am saying...

I worked for the largest Apple retailer in the US at that time...a company you would never have heard of and I could have any computer I wanted on my desk and at my home...

We had in a glass case an original Apple built in the garage...it had a wooden case and a type-written manual with notes and additions in the margins from Jobs and Wozniak...

At that time if Apple had not decided to keep their operating system proprietary there likely would never have been Windows (there would have been no need)...and Microsoft would likely not be the company they are today...

It is seriously silly to argue over which is better...

I have vista and its just fine. I will be upgrading tho.
IMO Hands down Mac wins. But mac cant support a lot of programs and that would be the only thing bad about Mac. I most definatly prefer PC/windows 7. Mac is good for like art stuff that my sister does and thats the only reason she has a mac.

PC, upgradeable, cheap....can find a free, albeit, slightly weak imo, OS, if not very expensive crashing all the time, despite the hype....ooops, wait a minute, there is Windows 7, multi uses for it.

MAC expensive, not upgradeable, cheap OS, two uses for it, video and audio editing

But Mac's are PC's (and upgradeable, and do pretty much anything a windows based PC can do)
