It's too bright for me even in lowest contrast compared to CRT lol. Has this ever occurred to you?

LCDs can be tough. They work by literally shining a bright backlight through an LCD screen at your eyes. You have to get a pretty good one to avoid the "staring into a headlight" effect.

The cheap ones are really, really bad with this.

I didnt read the title right, so I was like "damn straight it does!"
