One of the taxi cab ripped off people in our group, their currency is on forint which have a very high place value, so you literally have a 10000 bill
I wasn't specifically saying it only happened in Budapest, I just thought it was a scam that could happen anywhere that anyone could fall for and people should be warned about it.
My mum said they weren't warned about this sort of scam, just about counterfeit money. She's going to write to th eBritish embasyy (or whatever it is) and tell them about it so they can maybe warn others.
