In Scotland it is an offense for managers, club officials or players to critisise the performance of a referee.

So what do the club do on their own website? Essentially say the Referee was playing for the opposing team last Saturday, didn't have any common sense and has put the entire Scottish game into disrepute whilst almost implying dons fans who went to the Hibs game last Saturday should be re-reimbursed our money for having to watch a game the referee let become fascicle.

Good on the f***ing club though! I felt so angry walking out of Easter Road on Saturday and it's good to see the club standing up for us Aberdeen fans!

it sure if different over here... fans usually blame the refs for their team sucking or not playing well, because the refs "made so many bad calls". not much respect for the referee position over here.

Fans usually do here, but if the team or manager themselves say anything they get fined s***loads of money.

The ref was terrible though, sent off two Aberdeen players for absolutely nothing which handed the game to the scummy plastic Paddy's.

We get told as kids you have to respect the refs or umpires call but when you know you've coped a shocking decsion agaisnt you it can be hard to bite your lip. But for clubs and players to critisie dosent look good, should be the job off the fans and the media to do so although I dont mind seeing players have a bit off a go at the umpires cause it least shows some passion and these days in sport players are becoming more and more like robots.
