That still different...I mean I do like a the British in our shows...but its still produced here and therefore the humor and jokes are ingrained to us.

Besides...we totally took friends and made it American's favorite.

I'm talking about actual cross-over shows.

I know what you mean, but I do think The Office was the perfect vehicle for Steve Carell. That guy is f***ing hilarious!

A lot of the popular shows here are based on British versions, like Friends, American Idol, Big Brother, The Office, etc. But I love Keeping Up Appearances and I don't think it would come across as well if it was Americanized.

Keeping Up Appearances is a British comedy, British produced. Its a cross over show, or so I think.

But we don't get a lot of them. We only get the extremely old comedies like that, that play on stations like PBS.

Some of our shows might as well be British since there are a lot of British actors starring in them.

I've heard of Stanford and Son so yes...but I've never watched it.

I download QI. But I subscribe to BBC Canada. It has lots of older British comedies and some of the new dramas, news and everything.

I've come to love Stephen Fry and I always like Hugh Laurie even before House. That Alan Davies cracks me up, poor fella always getting the obvious answers on QI.

Practically all serial-shows on PBS are from the BBC.... How much more British can you get?
