Katie Piper was young and beautiful; a model and budding TV presenter, the 24-year-old had a glowing
future ahead of her. But on 31st March 2008 a vicious acid attack destroyed her face - and with it her career
and life as she knew it. More than a year on, and having undergone countless operations and rounds of
physiotherapy, Katie has now chosen to give up her anonymity and tell her own story for the first time.
'Katie: My Beautiful Face' which will be screened on Channel 4 at 9pm on Thursday 29 October.

I think she's very brave and her outlook is admirable. I'll be watching it and hope the men thst did this to her rot in jail.

I would love to get hold of that s***head and smash his skull in, Animals in human form thats my conclusion, She was unbelievably hot and now her life is ruined, I would gladly be the executioner in his case.

I can understand you calling them Animals,but that's unfair on animals,they don't do that kind of thing,these people are the Skum of society and not even worth being called an Animal.

Yes she was pretty, but that's irrelevant, I'd still feel the same however she looked. Throwing sulphuric acid in anyones face is a monstrous act of cowardice and evil.

Throw them into the lions or something, How can these mutants even have the privilege of having three meals a day and associate with fellow evil scum, They should implement the death penalty for such cases as this and sexual offenders! f*** them pieces of dirt they should be hung by there genitals.

I don't want to watch it. I feel for her so much, I don't want to say I feel sorry for her as quite clearly she's a very strong person who's moving on with her life and I don't think she would want to be pitied.

This is before and after.

I watched it last night. I really felt for the poor girl. I hope that in making the documentary it gives her the courage to get on with normal life now.
