I'am saying.....if we didn't have those evil people to begin with...we wouldn't be talking about this right now.....let me ask you something...have you ever wanted something so bad, that you were willing to take it from someone? Take it...even though it WASN'T yours to take? Have you ever wanted something someone else had, so bad that you were willing to do anything to get it...even kill? I haven't!! You don't seem to be that kind of person IMO!!

No I have never coveted something someone else had if there is something I'm impressed with that someone else has i ask where they got it and go buy one for myself, but that isn't a logical example in the context of the Native Americans and the land hungry US government of several 100 years ago.IMHO
No one disagrees that "those evil people" shouldn't have been allowed to do what they did. no one disagrees that some of the history of this world shouldn't have happened . But most everyone is aware that "those evil people" did exist and did do what they did and that some of the history of this nation and of the world did happen and aren't inclined use the fact that it did happen to stay angry instead of acknowledging the changes that have taken place and the ongoing striving of most of the world to bring about still more changes and better understanding so history won't repeat it's self.

Won't work/Ta-Ta!!
Well, if crime fighters fight crime and fire fighters fight fire, what do freedom fighters fight? They never mention that part to us, do they?

Well that doesn't really address my question, but it seems like you're praising Obama. If that's the case, then enough time has obviously passed to legitimately criticize him as well. I'm not really interested in doing either, but it's getting more and more ridiculous to claim he hasn't ruled long enough to make such judgements.

It is always a game of catchup in economics. Things don't go up or down in an instant. It take months or years. My praise is for what he is attempting to do. The successes or failures will come later.

Well....I can't really say how much time he should get.....I don't believe that would be fair.....if you take in to consideration, what he had to work with when he got in.....and let's not forget, he's young, it took 43 past presidents to make what this country is today....and not one of them accomplished anything great over night.....let's give him at least the same as we gave the others......that's fair!!! If you or anyone else thinks you can do a better job than Obama.....then I say..."Go take his job away from him....and do it yourself." We didn't get in this mess over night you know!!!

Amen. The attacks started before he even was sworn in and has not stopped for a single minute.
Obama deserves the same honor that all other presidents have enjoyed.

OK, they usually give Presidents 100 days leniency. It's been far past that point, so I think it's all fair game regardless if "it" is praised or denounced.

That aside. The shortest recession was 9 months and the S & P dropped 46%. The longest (the depression) was 32 months and the S & P also dropped 46%. The Depression took 8 years to recover from.
I'm hoping (from what I've seen so far) that Obama gets a full 8 years!

Except Presidents have very little control over the economy. We're a Capitalist system, not a Communist 1. It would be a little hard to say the ruler of a country can even do much to a Socialist system. I think Presidents should be judged on something a little more concrete, something they have a little more control over. In that regard, his time for leniency expired months ago.

Aren't many people worried he's done too much for the Arab world? I've heard people say that he's going to make us all Arabs, but I doubt that.
