I think I will do my resting after the surgery. Right now I'm running around like a chicken with it's head cut off, busy getting things taken care of before I go to surgery this month.

Back to apple pie, while the pie slice is still warm or re-heat in micro, lift the top crust and put in a slice of good aged cheddar cheese. Put crust back down and let cheese melt.
