I know this has been done a lot before, but bare with me. I was just reading a book called The Maya End Times: A Spiritual Adventure and I came up to this paragraph:

But none of the Maya, or others whose prophecies are mentioned later (in the book) have actually predicted disaster as an inevitability - though they do say that it is a possibility. Present-day Maya people who follow traditional counts of time do know, without any doubt, that a date in their calendars equivalent to our year 2012 marks the end of a Great Age and the beginning of a new one. So, what do you reckon? Do you think it's all paranoia, just like this book says or do you believe something will happen?
