Thank you.

I'll consider it. However, if I'm close to home, I might not.

Of course if I go to this one school, I'll HAVE to dorm. Or I can get Brit to move with me.

Yeah, if you are really close it might just be more cost effective to commute. But then that's gas money being eaten up...so you have a few factors to consider.

I know some people who dorm and they live like 15 minutes away from campus

Idk if I want to live on campus.
I kinda want to be home where I'll have free food, my own room, and a bigger space.

And isn't living in a dorm really expensive? Not only are you paying to live on campus, but you have to feed yourself as well, not to mention you don't get a lot of privacy.

What do you think? Did you live in a dorm, or stay at home?

I live at home. I would never want to live with a bunch of strangers, plus, I'm married, there's no way I'm living on campus when I have such a wonderful husband at home.

i lived in dorm for 1years.we were 7 in one room!it was interesting but a little irritable.sometimes i really missed my family especially for my mother. but i cant do anything.
live in dorm can bring us new experience.its good for our future.we can experience and learn how treat with other people in different situation.
you must be careful in dorm.don't trust to everybody easily.
next month i must go back to dorm and be there for 1 year again.
Now i miss for my roommate.i didn't them for 3month.

I lived my first year in the dorm and I enjoyed it. The next two years I have lived of campus and love being on my own and living by myself. I really think it is up to you. If you like being around tons of girls...dorm. If not then dont lol It sure was nice just to roll out of bed and go to class but I just like my freedom.

I used to. Staying at your house gives you free stuffs and all but living independently has more good outcomes than you think like being more responsible and mature.

I loved going to halls. Being surrounded by people my age, getting independence from my mum, not having to worry about being quiet when coming home from a night out (or having to be quiet if ye take someone home ) and either parties or people going out most nights.

Fantastic, not great for your liver mind but great fun.

Personally, I live at home while going to school. And there are certianlly benefits and pros to each.

Ex. If you live at home- dont take morning classes , unless you live diving places at 7am.
Ex. If you live at school- get ready to eat what the cafetria serves- every day- all day.
Ex. If you live at school find out if you are allowed to keep a car on campus for events not at school.

If you live at school there is a lot more drama, cattiness, oppurtunity to get distracted, less space, having to time things arround your roomate, public bathrooms [Can I say ew enough?] ect.

If you live at home there is less distraction and your space is yours- but it is harder to meet people unless you make sure to be active in campus activities. So yeah, living at home can feel isolating at times. [But you don't have to share your bathroom with countless strangers.]

Just some points.
Personally, I live at home, I like it & I don't regret the decison.

I kinda have no choice when it comes to dorm or home because I'm going to go to college out of state. Plus I'd like to get involved in sports and it seems like it'll be easier if you live on campus.
