I think I've posted this in the right forum, if not, my apologies.

So I came across a couple tutorials yesterday on how to make flaming text using Photoshop. I know Photoshop and Paint Shop Pro are similar so I figured that I could try the tutorials and just substitute the Photoshop menus with Paint Shop Pro menus. I started going through the steps and found the alternative to Photoshop no problem until I got to the step to create a wind effect on the text. Using Paint Shop Pro, I can not get the effect to look even remotely close to the tutorial to create the flames.

I'm wondering if there is anyone here that is familiar with Paint Shop Pro and can give me any tips to accomplish the flame effect shown in the videos.

Here are the 2 videos I was looking at:

How to create a fire text/font. Photoshop CS4. Tutorial. (About 1:30 in)

Photoshop fire text tutorial!! FIRE TEXT!!! (About 1:05 in)

Any help on using the wind effect tool, or whatever tool is needed, on Paint Shop Pro to achieve the flame text would be much appreciated!

I know there are fonts available already for flame texts, but I just wanted to try to do it on my own. Thanks for the link, I'll check it out right now.
