Very informative and luckily I don't drink and I don't drive, so this will never have any impact on me.

dude i can think of a few people that would benefit from that, like people that would otherwise be killed by a drunk driver. i think its a great idea

i hope the idiot that drinks and drives has one, that would be great when they come out of the bar and the car wont start

Right now, offenders who do have them find ways to get around them. I think it's a waste of money.

I don't drink and drive so this would be annoying to me.
I refuse to buy a car that I have to breath into before I can drive it.

Anything is possible with an Astro!!

What couldn't you put in an astro, Stop signs fit, Pole and all.
Given you have to have someone hold the back doors half closed as you drive, but it does fit

I know a thing or two about "big a** boats" too
I had a friend that drove a Pontiac Parisienne
which looked like this

We used to fit a bunch of people in that too, lets just say on snow, the only thing that can stop it in a slide is a 4 foot snow bank.

Was in back to back car accidents in 2004. One in May and the other in Nov. One was because of a cell phone and the other was just sheer ignorance on the other man's part. He thought just because he turned on his signal light to get into main traffic that it gave him the right of way and pulled out right into my side of the car totaling the car I was in.

On the other end my brother-in-law {Now Deceased} was in an accident and drunk to the hilt. He lost control over the truck which my sister and another young man was in and the truck rolled and rolled many times before stopping.

Their friends picked them up and they were all ok. The next morning he woke up screaming for my sister {his wife} that he couldn't move, she took him to the hospital and he had a broken neck and was in traction for a year after that with pins and plates in his head and never being able to move, just pinned flat in traction.

He had to learn to walk and do the basic things all over again. In all 3 years for one night of drinking was basically taken away from him.

Long story huh? But it always amazed me as to how he even survived it that same night.

Its sad what happens when someone is drunk or distracted behind the wheel, it totally scares me

It really is because if someone is drunk they can't fully take in what has happened and walk around and say nothings wrong while there may be very serious internal injuries that will not be felt or known until the next day and by then it may be too late. I've seen many drunk drivers {friends and family}, get into car accidents and they were bleeding all over and they wouldn't listen to a word we said to them.

One young man here a few years ago, got drunk and his friends tried to get this keys but couldn't, so he got in his vehicle and the next thing he knew he was waking up in the Remand Center, in the drunk tank awaiting charges of a triple murder. He had totaled a car with a young woman and her two children who were on their way to church.

Now! He goes from school to school telling his story to all the students on how the consequences of drinking can be horrific to live with and taking the risks are not worth it.

It won't affect me as if I take the car, then I dont drink, its a simple policy and works well for me.
