Behold!

Unfortunately, there was some problems with GPD, so they accidentally canceled my order for some black tuning pegs, so it's not quite done yet, but I ditched all the ugly chrome hardware for sexy black hardware, and the Tuners will follow suit shortly. I expected far less guitar than I got for $500 shipped to my door, used.

Seven strings? My fingers would not be long enough to bar that. What is the tuning?

I set this one up in A standard, ADGCFAD, with 13-66 strings. I have 11-56 on my Carvin and Explorer 7-strings, but this one, having a floyd rose, is going to be in the tuning I use most. Having a fixed bridge guitar in my room is nice cause there's no mucking about with a floating tremolo, but in 2 of my bands, I need a guitar in either D or A, that stays in that tuning, so this one gets to be that one.

So, Pugio, with this tuning are yout chord shapes all different to a normal guitar?

Nope. It's a full step down from standard, but with an added low A on the bottom. There's some really cool tricks I can do like Inverting the open C shape and play the "second" C lower than the original. If I'm really feeling entertaining I can actually play 3 different C notes in one chord. All the chord shapes are the same, but are a full-step down.
