well,my friends always complain about Chinese is hard for them to learn.do you think so ?what do you think the hardest language for someone to learn???

I tried for about a week and still couldn't speak chinese so gave up.

The attempt to learn Chinese would stimulate brain activity. Trying to learn Chinese in an environment devoted to Architecture would be mind-boggling.....

Even little chinese childres can speak Chinese; ratarded Chinese can speak Chinese... A Chinese dog can understand Chinese commands. How difficult can it be? Maybe they gave it more than a week. I read that more Chinese speak English than English People speak English. So the good news is that communicltion should not be a problem.

Chinese is really hard to learn if you are referring with their own manuscript. Even those some Chinese people as well they have difficulty n learning lots of things.

I had a friend of mine in Malaysia actually a Malaysian-Chinese guy who had not learned the Chinese manuscript but he can speak it. He sent his daughter to school to learn Chinese and it was funny when some of the Chinese letters he sees he ask his 5 year-old daughter on what does it says.

About in how to speak Chinese, I believe it's not that difficult although Mandarin has no past, present, past participle in their grammar that's why I thought most of them they have some difficulties to adapt English language.

Chinese people are normally smart so we let them learn english , I can't even speak my own language fluently, I can speak french better
