Over the past 100 years the United States Post Office has pictured many women, Blacks, Asians, Hispanics, and American Indians on their stamps.

Blacks on American money was covered in another thread.
...although I forgot about the Jackie Robinson $1 coin that came out in 1997.

Women on American money:
Susan B. Anthony - $1 coin - 1979-1999
Sacagawea - $1 coin - 2000-still in production
Dolley Madison - $1 coin - 1999
Martha Washington - $1 note - 1886 and 1896

Hispanics - NONE

Asians - NONE

American Indians
Sacagawea - $1 coin - already mentioned - 2000-still in production
Running Antelope (Souix Chief) - $5 note - 1899

Seriously, I had an Aunt that was dwarf and she preferred the term to "Little People". She was a giant in my eyes.

I would call them by their names????

Actually I believe dwarfism is a genetic condition and the limbs are often disproportionate with their body and midget is a person whose body is proportionate but small.

Medically, a midget is any otherwise normal adult who stands under 5' 0".

You are correct about dwarfism. It is a genetic condition usually marked by disproportionate limbs.
