I think they are grotesque but beautiful.

Though surface piercings have a lot of complications and might reject, if they do, it will leave scar tissue that will be even harder to pierce through or a scar, though the scarring might look neat as well.
I doubt it would hurt much more than any other surface piercing, not too bad... if you are into tattoos I bet the piercings wont feel like much to you if you get them a few at a time.

If you are willing to be sore and not be able to lay on your back while they heal, and spending a good fortune... I'd say go for it.

a friend of a friend had one done on his back but he had to take them out after about a week anyway because of something or other... forget what! it looked awful i thought :/ im all for body art but draw the line at things like that.

I like anything that involves pain. The more pain one can endure, the more attracted I would be to them. This would also include Mental Pain... The ones that can endure both physical pain and mental and always come back for more...Gods.

i like them but im not sure i could go through with it. I have a few tattoos and piercings but im a scardy cat when it comes to that. These corset piercings are normally only a temporary piercing anyway, done for a special occasion

My sister's got her back done. 8 on each side. She said it didn't hurt much. I think they're beautiful.

You know, I love piercings and have enough myself I shouldn't say anything, but that just does not work for me.
