Love is an overused word that hardly means anything anymore. People say it all the time and about everything. I love my shoes, I love your hair, I love this and I love that. We can't possibly really love our shoes, we can't like them but not love them. I am guilty of misusing that word in regards to clothes hair etc.

Telling people you love them is a serious thing. I remember at a site I was on when I was single, I started to MSN chat with this guy. A week later he said he loved me. WTF? He never met me and a week worth of MSN chat does not mean love.

I think it normally takes awhile to love someone. Typically people drop their mask, if they are wearing one, after three months. I think a lot of times we can be in lust or we can fall for the person we think they are. If that mask drops and they become different we just loved the person they were before.

Tell him when you feel it and when it's proper in your heart to do so.

I really want him to say it to me first.

Not to be petty, but I just I know how I feel in my heart, but I want him to just turn to me and say:
"I have something to tell you; I love you."

(that's what I would say).

But I'm not stupid, I'm not going to wait months an months for him to say it, if he's taking forever, chances are he's nervous. So I'd go ahead and say it and take it from there.

I hope no one is saying at your age you don't know what love is. I remember back in the day, when I was your age, I loved someone very much. My mom kept telling me I did not know what love is. She kept saying it was puppy love. That bothered me so much.

I know you are falling for him and you are not a person just to have these feelings for anyone, I know he is special just by how you feel.

I understand wanting to hear it first. I once had a hard time telling people I love them, even friends. Not saying you have that problem. But I needed to hear it first from people. I lost my dad at a young age and other life events caused me to close off and it was hard to share my feelings with people.

I do know that even after being with my b/f for about three years, I love him more and more each day.

I wish all the best for you and hope this turns into something really great. I know it's cliche but you do truly deserve it babes.

It is a nice feeling, falling for someone, isn't it?

Awh, Thank you. I really do appreciate it.

I don't use "I love you" as a loose term with BFs. If I'm not in love with them, I don't date them. I wouldn't like it if I had a boyfriend who didn't love me.

It is a wonderful feeling, I was doubting his feelings for me, but after last night... I think I have a pretty good idea.

Hopefully Friday I'll see him again.

I'm not putting down your age but I remember when I was your age and the hardest was that someone else decided when you could go out and see the person you were dating. Also someone telling you when to get off the phone when you wanted to talk for hours and hours.

I remember waiting all week to see the person on the weekends. Those weekends did not last long enough.

Omg... I totally agree.

However, in 7.2 months, I can see anyone anytime I so wish!

Omg... I would love to hear "I love you" from Eric. I think then I could just die.

but then again, I'll be like: "I'm not even your girlfriend (yet)"
