Ive heard that Macs dont get viruses-or at least fewer and less deadly viruses than PCs do. Is this true? And if it is, then why is it so? Is this something permanent with all Mac computers or just a temporary convenience until more viruses are created for Macs??

It would be the latter.. There aren't enough systems running the Mac OS to bother creating a virus for them. People who create viruses do it because they think that disrupting peoples lives is fun and profitable. There just aren't enough Mac users out there to make it worthwhile for them
