Ok. Spoke to my uncle. He'll run antivirus scans on all of their computers cos they're networked and I'm to run a scan on mine, just to make sure all's well on my end too. It's weird though.

i have ahd a few now, one sent a message to ohters about a dating site and a friend of mines sent stuff from him to me about something. i didnt click on the link though, not that stupid

It's not a virus. It is Hotmail giving away your email address to SPAM marketers. Free email services like Hotmail and yahoo track what you search online (when you're logged in to you account) then bombard you with spam related to what you might be interested in.

When I started online, I had MSN, they had an e-mail filter that blocked everything except for family and those e-mails that are requested. They may still have it.

The crux of the biscuit is the apostrophe.
