Anyone know of a website where you can build your house...or add up the design cost of your house...this would include fixed structures and the types of materials you want to use?

Custom houses are hard to come by anymore. I think that you would want to talk to developers in your area and see if they even have custom homes available, then work with them if they do.

Thanks.

I just want to know a rough estimate on what it would cost. I know custom houses are a lot more expensive than manufactured or otherwise....but I'm thinking about buying some land in the near future...and would rather have a custom house than a manufactured one.

Plus my parents have an extra two lots next's to their house...and since one a corner lot, if they build a manufactured house on it and sell it, it would be quite a bit of money.

But either way its always fun to build your dream home.

Contact a contractor in your area. Also if you use an architectural draftsman to do your plans as opposed to an Architect it will cost you a lot less money.

Thanks, that's helpful.

Yeah I definitely plan on getting a Architect, Designer, Geological Surveyor dude, contractor once the project kicks off.

Most likely the contractor will have all these people though.
