I haven't meet anyone that doesn't like tool. The only tool songs I ever hear are "the pot", "Aenima" and "stinkfest"
That's what I meant. Every 3rd. or 4th. song played on the rock station here is Tool.

Back when I had XM satelite radio, the squizz channel played wolfmother and Danzig.
I don't listen to terrestial radio so no clue there.
Satellite radio plays a lot, but regular play's s***.

They're not under-rated, they're looked upon as the creators of heavy metal. That's quite a high rating in my eyes One they deserve, but still. They're a metal giant, a true hero of a band
I meant their new music is underrated. It's just as good as their classic tunes.

Not here...every third or fourth song played here is Metalica, Disturbed, usually.

I don't care for Tool. I have to say they are a brilliant band. And very unique. I do like "Schism". But my attention span does not hold for their songs.
I love their 9 minute songs. I love them, though do agree...some styles are an acquired taste.

Every rock/metal band of all times have that. People will just look at a band's old stuff and go "Better back then". Does not apply to Judas Priest in particular, but to any band. Metallica, Iron Maiden, Scorpions, you name it.

Metallica's music has certainly changed a lot. Judas Priest's has remained pretty much the same since the late seventies. they haven't had to alter their sound because they have a huge fan base; same with Iron Maiden, really.

Metallica returned to their 80s sound with Death Magnetic. Iron Maiden is, in my eyes, still brilliant. I loved their most recent album. Judas Priest, I've never really been that into them. I listen to 3-4 of the most popular tracks they've made, nothing more really.
