I keep my herbs in pots so that I can bring them in for winter. Fresh herbs can't be beat! Next weekend the geraniums go back outside, and I'll dig in some good rich manure and get ready for planting. My tomatoes last year were a bust, I somehow got a bunch of miniature Roma bedding plants instead of the full size ones. I think it was the nursery's fault, myself.
I have lots of crocuses, snowdrops, grape hyacinths, and even a couple of daffodils already in bloom in the flower beds.
edit: I have been trying to kill the morning glories in my yard for the last five years, they are trying to take over everything! They are pretty, but sure are a pest!
