post in forums and then try to list your site in related directories. there are a lot out there that are for free

Google AdWords especially with their contextual ad campaigns. Hand out business cards, talk to a lot of people, and always keep searching for new ideas to let people know about your site. Join a club or organization with a big membership especially those where you volunteer.

useing your web page in your signature is always good especialy if you build a good name for yourself, try looking up fashion or jordan or anyother forum related to your product and get to know the mods thats the only way you wont be a small fish in a big sea. get a google blog aswell they are easy to setup.

some sites offer advertising at the bottom of their page or throughout their site. obviously the prices for doing that will vary and i have no idea how much itll be. yyou could put some ads in local newspapers. hand out fliers and post them through letterboxes. there might even be an actual site like a forum or something where people can advertise and share their companies or sites...google it! advertise on the popular sites like blogger.com, myspace.com, facebook.com, twitter.com too. you could make a group for your site on facebook and invite people to join. facebook grups get really popular really quickly
