Only a few people I know of have it. Are you one of them?

What's it like for you?

Can you steer?
(Do you get into the steering part of it, leaning this way and that?)

Are you having fun?

What do you observe?
(Little people on the ground?)
(Obstacles in your way?)
(Birds or Airplanes or clouds along side you?)

What do you think? What are you thinking?

Do you land?

Are you afraid to land?

Do you dream you are taking off and can't get off the ground?

Do you know you are human, and this is really crazy, or do you just go with it and not question it?

The flying dreams I've had are weird. In order for me to fly, I have to almost squat, and then hold my arms out to my sides like airplane wings and I'd just fly around like that.

I've also had jumping dreams where I could jump really far and high.

well I have had a few falling dreams before and it's been said, if your falling from a great distance and you DO NOT wake up in the dream....you DO NOT wake up for REAL in REAL Life!

Sure. Tell me, if they don't wake up, how would they know they were dreaming of falling?

I've never had a flying dream, but I wish I had.

Ahhh I have had the flying dream about two times. I usually start of already off the ground, kinda like im rising in the air, and then I'm flying full speed ahead. I think my arms are out to the sides of me like you see little kids do when they imitate flying, but im not sure because i cant really see my body but just the view in front of me and to the sides. Usually its like "thrill" experience, so I'm not really thinking about anything but just enjoying the thrill of it. I don't really see anything as far as people or anything that you mentioned. Just focusing on steering one way or another and flying. But I do know that I am flying and I also realize that I'm human and cant fly, yet I'm flying which is usually the only thought I get other than how fun it is.

But more than the flying dream, I have the falling dream. I have these a lot. I use have them quite a bit when I was younger. Falling over a cliff or you start dreaming that you are falling and then you wake up right before you hit the ground. But recently in the past two to three years, when ever I have the falling dream, I no longer wake up at just falling, instead im falling and its a thrill and usually at the part where you are about to hit whatever and wake up, i find my self falling and diving into the ocean...I guess im falling over water...but yeah then IM SWIMMING, gracefully i might add...its just feels like the flying dream after I hit the water because I can "feel" the water and I can steer. Its amazing...and its exhilarating. But the water part doesn't last long...compared to the falling part about only half the time. But i don't know why or how it changed from me waking up right before to now actually falling into the water and swimming.

Does anyone know what they mean?

I have had many flying in my dream experiences and they are awesome. I thought I was the only, glad to hear there are more outthere. Usually if I start "flapping" my arms soon I start flying and I can see people, houses and in my case lots of forests. I think I pretty much have down pat what the flying signifies but I still wonder about the forest. Maybe I just miss my childhood home where I could go to the mountains and be among the pine and fir trees. I also get to see game animals which I used to see when I went up there. Either way what a wonderful dream.
