As already mentioned,it seems the author you are talking about is David Icke,who in my opinion is nowhere near as crazy as those at the top would like us to think he is.
Regarding "future attacks" on the twin towers,there was a documentary made in the late 90's about a man named Rick Roscorla.
Born in England he moved to the USA,gained citizenship,fought in Vietnam and eventually became Head of Security for Morgan Stanley (i think) in the World Trade Centre.
In the documentary he was asked about the previous bomb attack on the towers and what to expect next.
His reply suggested an aerial attack and he said something along the lines of,we are in conflict with an enemy we have no defence against.
Unfortuanately his prediction came true and he sadly lost his life while evacuating Morgan Stanley (i think) staff from the building.
