Well, neither the 2 times I've been banned, nor the one and only time I've been punched, have I EVER been warned. EVER.

So maybe the mods need to have a meeting about that, Idk. But considering I was pretty much new to the site when those occurences occured (lol) I was very much put off by the fact I got no warning.

I believe I may have been PUBLICALLY warned. Idk though. I was told:
"You better calm down or you won't be here long"and when I went to reply, I was already banned.

If that was a warning, I'm pretty pissed it wasn't done within a PM.

But that's all water under the bridge.

Like I said, I'm happy you are responisble and just with your "power" but I don't think all of the mods are like you.
But hell, wtf do I know anyway...

Like Wild said, the mods discuss punishment between them. I guess they only act alone if it is an immediate problem.

We don't ban people unless there is a breakage in the TOS. You can pa** blame all day long but ultimately it is YOU that is responsible for any actions taken under YOUR account.

If you go out and kill someone just because they pissed you off the judge is not going to let you walk just because they pissed you off. So lets Grow up and act like civilized people here and stop the blame throwing.

By making this post I am not taking up or supporting the actions of anyone on TFS except for the MOD that made the decision and we all stand together on the TFS staff.

Well, a punch kinda is a warning. Not that anything anywhere says anyone needs to be warned about anything before any particular action is taken.

Sometimes i send a warning, sometimes i dont. It really depends on whether its an outright breaking TOS or whether its borderline. If its borderline i consult with the other members of the moderation/admin staff.

Evasive action is a big part of it, if we see someone veering into flaming, if we see someone getting worked up or someone being baited then we will send a friendly PM if we have time.

There is always 2 sides to a story, and to be frank im not interested in the story - just the rule breaking.

And like tino said, we dont have to give a warning - its entirely at the discretion of the TFS staff.

Time for a reality check - its an internet forum.
