I'm very pale skinned, to the point I look ill sometimes.
I bought some of the Johnson's holiday self tanner and thought i'd have ago...any advice or tips.

I don't wanna go orange

If it's white, sticky and not yours dont touch it.

I've got Johnson's. Doesn't do a great job to be honest and it smells horrid.

Sophie is habituated and could potentially be a threat to humans Thankoo Google!

oooh um shower and really scrub and whats-it-called when you take off all the old skin?

Anyways do that first, wear plastic/rubber gloves if you are gonna have to rub it in.

Also when you get out the shower rub in baby oil all over then dry off, then apply the self-tan.

Spray tan works the best, and yes like treebee said make sure you scrub good. I used self tanners and they worked well for me. took a while to learn how to do it though without making it uneven.

i do too, i like it now, I go very freckly ni the summer(nothing to do with the sunlight i swear it gets to may and freckles just appear) I can't find a fake tan that works, also i cba to keep up with it.

I'm the exact same - and because most self tanners go a different shade from my skin would if a natural tan it looks completely obvious.
The best stuff I've ever found if Palmers Cocoa Butter with self tan.
It's pretty hard to find - I found it in a large Superdrug - but it goes on really nice and because it's cocoa butter it makes your skin feel amazing!
It also works gradually, but you can see the difference afer the first use, it's only slight but it's there.

Spray tan do work the best. Norvell solutions are the best. Cailf. Tan also makes a really good spray and self tanning solutions.

hey i use this, firstly make sure you have th eone for pale skin and secondly its not as easy as they make out... make sure you get it all over and not on your hands (wash thoroughly) other than that its quite a nice color, if you don't like this one

I also use NO7 which is a much browner color (rather than orange or yellow) but is about £14 so quite expensive a bottle goes a long way though and the tan lasts a good few days xox

Pale is fine, very attractive but grey and washed out isnt attractive.

I finally used garnier summer body and its really lovely, infact i've had a few compliments which made me feel fab.

I'm def gonna keep an eye out for the coco butter one though.
