On another note, poor people are more depressed than the rich. With mucho money, you can pay the best doctors, make sure your loved one is comfortable in the hospital, private room, round the clock nurses and doctors.

Yeah I don't doubt that at all, I am just saying alot of poor people are depressed because of money problems.

I am watching John Q right now, this guy has a damn good reason to be depressed and it would all be fixed if he was rich.

Are you even paying attention to what I am saying, i am not talking about money making you happy, I am talking about the fact that when you're poor there is so many reasons to be depressed that money can fix.

You think there are all these depression-inducing problems that can be fixed with sufficient money. I'm telling you that there are not. More money just brings different depression-inducing problems.

The root of the depression is not caused by financial status.

Ok I get what you're saying. No the root of depression is not caused by financial problems, its some chemical in your brain undoubtedly. Lets say you lost your job right? Rents due, you have to pay this week on your kids daycare, DES has just canceled your welfare cause you were making too much money at the job you just lost, so Its gonna take you a few months to get that back. You have to agree that this would make someone pretty depressed right, and if you agree with that you have to agree with the fact that sufficient money would solve all these problems.

Unless they were stupid rich people they should have some fallback money to get the through till there next job or something. If they didn't I bet they would be even more depressed then the poor man who is used to struggling for money.
Thats totally irrelevant to what I was saying anyways, I agree that rich people have there own kind of depression where money is concerned.
What I am saying, which I think you know, is that a poor person who is having money problems which made him depressed would be able to fix his money problems and his depression because of those problems with more money.

How can you not agree with that?
