try pilates. its really good for toning tummy and rest of lower body. i had been doing it for just 5 weeks and i am just amazed with the result. plus it doesnt make you feel exhausted instead makes you feel relaxed after wards. its worth a try.

I Think it's all in lifestyle change. With the help of a friend her on TFS to guide me on some basic nutrition I lost over 25 pounds and several inches in the weeks leading up to my wedding. I stopped drinking sodas and started drinking lots of water. I cut alot of carbs out of my diet. I don't eat bread nearly as much as I did. I cut the fat in half , no fried foods and being from the South that is a hard thing to do. I eat lots of fruit and veggies and I work out three times or more a week. Lots of heart pounding cardio will blast the body fat.

A nutritionist/personal trainer I talked to once said:

Biceps are made in the gym, abs are made in the kitchen

His point was that you got to stop eating that much in order to lose that belly flab. Training the muscles in the abs only build up the muscles there, but the layer of belly fat will not go away until the diet changes to allow the body to burn out that fat.

I lost 40 lbs in about 5/6 months, by Exercising, exercising, and more exercising. I road my mountain bike everyday for at least 15 miles, then did the elliptical and hundreds of AbSlides. I have absoutely no fat. My BMI is 16.? I got rid of the flap of fat that has hung over my C-Section for 20 years. It can be done, but what price are you willing to pay?

Running...it will help flatten your tummy without making it seem like you have muscle.

But the basics...sit ups help

Or...re-adjusting the way you eat...instead of eating 3 big whole meals a day...try eating 5 smaller proportionate meals 5 times a day. But still make sure you eat enough!

If you guys want a kick a** body, go over to the Royal Marine website, they have an excellent pre-selection fitness page with charts and junk. Gets you ripped.
