When writing a business letter, using standard punctuation helps. For example, capitalize the first word and any proper nouns. All other words should be lower case.

The Polo brothers must have written such a letter before they left Constantinople to sell jewels to the Tartar prince. Of course that was in 1260, and they wrote in Italian or Turkic, so maybe the rules off style were different.
